I’ve gone on record many times to state that I fully support (and have ALWAYS fully supported) the legalized use of cannabis, both for medical reasons and for responsible adult use.
I was honored to be a guest on “The Cannabis Podcast” with host Ian Beckles on December 12, 2018, where we discussed my position on cannabis use.

Ian asked me my stance on medical marijuana. My reply (paraphrased for print):
“If you look at how many medicines we have circulating the globe right now, a lot of them are plant-based. Cannabis is a plant; so there should be no debate here. Medical marijuana should be legalized everywhere. This debate boggles my mind. We are still so far behind that we even have to have this discussion.”
I went beyond my support of medical marijuana use and explained: “Not only am I for medical marijuana use, I am so “for it” that I think responsible adult use of cannabis should be legalized. Period.”
Although I have never used cannabis, and at 50 years of age I have never even had a drop of alcohol by personal choice, I don’t impose my choices on others. My view has always been “you be you, and I’ll be me.”
A more in-depth, raw discussion can be heard on the December 12, 2018 edition of Ian Beckles’ “The Cannabis Podcast (…and find out why I have never indulged in alcohol. I’m sure you want to know, most people do!)
